THE ESSENCE OF SERVICE
We have started to cross borders, to affect lives.
We left our comfort zones to learn, to explore, and to develop our capabilities not just as student doctors, but to create that change within us – to have compassion to the community people, develop empathy to the poor, advocate rational, ethical, and decent practices and quality professional performances within our capabilities. That, in line, made us established social connection and bonding with the people.
We exist and envision to produce a self reliant community, able to perceive their needs and problems and act to solve within their resources and to create connections among themselves or outside organizations to meet their needs – to create a community that is, at most, in the state of complete physical, mental, and social well being.
As the vision and the mission of the school implies, we exist not for ourselves but for others. We have engaged ourselves, built trust and connection to the people. Through these, we can be able to convince or encourage them to participate in every activity that are geared towards a healthy community to live in.
Partnership and Relationship surfaced. Indeed, this will start to create a better future for the community. We are the advocates of awareness and they are the instruments of reality and action.
