            Barangay Upper Salug Daku is located at the heart of the municipality with vast expanse of rich and fertile agricultural land bounded in the north by Barangay Kaangayan and Guripan, in the south by Barangay Lower Salug Daku, in the east by Barangay Delusom and in the west by Barangay Sta. Cruz.

            The barangay is divided into four puroks. In each purok, a Barangay Councilor is assigned and is headed by a purok president. As of the year 2014, the barangay has 236 households comprising of 1,037 population.
